Overview

Presenting a defense for faith in Jesus is central to the ministry and mission of all Christians. Dr. Bobby Conway leads viewers through his own personal story, biblical examples of effective witness, and clear reasoning that points to God’s activity in our world today. View descriptions of the Bible’s reliability and the implications of Christian claims about the resurrection. In this winsome presentation, Christians will find effective means to point unbelievers toward Jesus in a way that speaks to the heart as well as the mind.

This is a great course to introduce Apologetics. Given the nature of what is on social media, the news, and PG rated movies and television; any and all content is comparatively mild. If your audience is saved people who already know the Lord and have a regenerated heart and mind, then of course there is one example that would be iffy. However, the audience is not the saved, it is for those that have questions.

This course is quite good, and as Terrence points out below, contains real world examples of the consequences of rejecting truth that afflicts our culture today.

The example @Allan Paul is referring to is given when discussing man's inherent knowledge of good and evil. Bobby cites Ann Lander's response to a man who wrote to her asking what was wrong with sleeping with his sister (since it didn't seem to hurt anyone). Ann's response is an appropriate "Sick, sick, sick". To describe this example as "offensive" does nothing more than prove Bobby's point. If this example earns AP101 an X-rating then, by the same reasoning, don't let your kids read the Bible (which would earn a XXX-rating under such a rating system).

Buyer warning ! Mr Conway uses an example to support his point in Segment 8 'Consequences of Rejecting the Truth' from a old newspaper column of Ann Landers that is truly vulgar, repugnant and offensive. Mr. Conway, could you find no other example to support your point that you would have to reach into the sewer for this example? It certainly detracts from your teaching and in my opinion earns that segment an "X-rating". It is truly a distracting and offensive example and buyers should be alerted to it being present in the presentation. I did not finish the course because I find it difficult to sit under the teaching of someone who can so easily exercise such poor judgment in choosing support examples. Kind of like treading thru a field of land mines! I found this a waste of money and time but a good teaching lesson for me to vet the teacher before buying the course. Allan L Paul, MD
